About me

I am a Canadian journalist currently based in Toronto where I work as a reporter for CBC/Radio-Canada. Prior to moving to Ontario, I spent a year in Spain and worked as a news producer for France Télévisions (France 2) in Washington D.C. for two years. I also spent six years working as a freelance multimedia journalist in Lebanon. My work, which focuses on human and women's rights as well as social issues, has taken me to the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus and South America.

My latest travels include several trips to Mexico and Guatemala where I produced a series of multimedia stories on migrant children and La Bestia, also known as the "Death Train". I also traveled to Colombia where I reported on Medellin's narco tours and the country's emerald industry.

My work has been published in numerous international publications such as the BBC, Al Jazeera English Online, Deutsche Welle, Channel News Asia, Eurasianet.org, TV5 Monde, La Presse, L'actualité, ELLE Québec, La Gazette des Femmes and L'Édition du Soir.
